Incident Overview: Car Plows Through Crowd in Los Angeles, Leaving 20 Injured
The Car plows through crowd in Los Angeles, as the officials have reported so far the driver has lost consciousness leaving more than 20 injured by far as have been confirmed.
The crash took place at Santa Monica Boulevard and Vermont Avenue in East Hollywood. Authorities say three victims are in critical condition, six in serious condition, and 19 in fair condition. 124 fire personnel responded to the scene.
Police Capt. Adam Van Gerpen said the driver struck a taco cart before hitting a crowd outside a club. The cause appears to be a medical emergency.
LAFD is coordinating patient triage and transport at this time,” fire officials said early Saturday.
