$30,000 worth of Labubu figurines were recovered from a Southern California home following a burglary investigation, Chino police said.
Detectives began the case after suspects broke into a warehouse and stole boxes containing the collectible figurines. Authorities said the items, known for their popularity among collectors, have become one of the year’s most sought-after products.
During a search of a residence in Upland, officers located 14 boxes filled with the furry, customizable characters. According to police, each Labubu figure typically sells for around $30, but the total value of the recovered merchandise was estimated at $30,000.
The recovery was part of an ongoing investigation into multiple thefts from a local warehouse. Chino police shared details of the discovery in a social media post on Monday.
