Rapper and YouTuber DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) has recently filed an emergency motion to prevent his ex-partner, singer and actress Halle Baily, from taking their infant son, Halo, out of the country. On June 4, 2025, DDG submitted legal documents seeking an emergency hearing to stop Halle Bailey from traveling to Italy with their son, Halo. He expressed concerns about Bailey’s mental health and the potential risks to their child if she were to leave the court’s jurisdiction.
Allegations of Past Incidents
DDG’s motion includes references to past incidents that he believes demonstrate Bailey’s instability. He alleges that during her pregnancy, she took his firearm without informing him and left the house, leading to a concerning situation. Additionally, he claims that she once considered terminating the pregnancy without his knowledge but ultimately decided against it.

Claims of Threatening Behavior
The rapper also asserts that Bailey has exhibited threatening behavior post-birth. He cites instances where she allegedly sent alarming messages suggesting self-harm and potential harm to their son. Counter-Allegations by Halle Bailey
In contrast, Halle Bailey has previously accused DDG of abusive behavior, including an incident where she alleges he physically assaulted her during a custody exchange, resulting in a chipped tooth. She has obtained a temporary restraining order against him and has been granted temporary sole custody of Halo.

Beyond preventing international travel, DDG is seeking sole legal and physical custody of Halo. Alternatively, he requests that any custodial exchanges be supervised by a third party to ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
