Did Quadruple Murder Suspect Austin Drummond Live Better in Prison Than Most?
While authorities continue to search for Austin Drummond—the 28-year-old suspect in the brutal killings of four people in Tennessee—newly surfaced Facebook posts reveal an unsettling truth: Drummond allegedly lived a shockingly comfortable life behind bars before his release.
A Life of Contraband and Comfort
Photos from Drummond’s now-deleted Facebook account show his prison cell stocked with a Roku streaming device, multiple cell phones, handheld video games, and even a bottle of Ciroc vodka. One caption from November 2023 read, “Ciroc… almost home living it up till I get there.”
Drummond, who has ties to the Drummond Vice Lords gang, served 13 years for aggravated robbery and retaliation before his September 2024 release. Despite multiple contraband charges, he managed to maintain what experts call an “unusually privileged” incarceration.
Prison Oversight Failures?
Former NYPD Detective Pat Brosnan told Fox News that prison officials likely failed routine checks. “There was irresponsibility, neglect, and probably recklessness,” he said, noting that frequent “shakedowns” should have uncovered the contraband. Brosnan also suggested Drummond may have had inside help.
A Violent Spree After Release
Now, the focus shifts to finding Aaron Drummond (also referenced in some reports as Austin). Police say he committed the quadruple murder while out on bond for an attempted murder charge—stemming from an incident while he was still incarcerated. His vehicle was found abandoned in Jackson, TN, but has Austin Drummond been found? Not yet.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Dyer County Police Department. Meanwhile, questions linger: How did a convicted felon access luxuries behind bars—and could better oversight have prevented his alleged crimes?
