Elon Musk Deletes Explosive Trump-Epstein Post Amid Feud

Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

Elon Musk has deleted a controversial post on his platform X, where he claimed President Donald Trump was named in unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files. The deletion comes amid escalating tensions between the two, following disagreements over federal spending and policy directions.

Musk’s Allegation and Subsequent Retraction

On Thursday, Elon Musk posted on X, asserting that President Trump was mentioned in the Epstein files, suggesting this as the reason for their non-disclosure. The post read: “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been make public. Have a nice day, DJT” By Saturday morning, the post was removed, with no official explanation provided.

The White House dismissed Musk’s claim as unfounded, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stating, “This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted.”

Political and Economic Fallout

The public spat has led to significant political and economic repercussions. Tesla’s stock experienced a notable decline, and Trump’s political allies have expressed concern over the feud’s impact on the Republican agenda.

Vice President JD Vance commented on the situation, describing Musk as an “emotional guy” and expressing hope for reconciliation.
