Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan is scheduled to visit the White House on Monday after President Donald Trump last week called for his removal over alleged ties to Chinese businesses, according to people familiar with the matter.
The sources said Tan is expected to hold a wide-ranging discussion with Trump, aiming to explain both his personal and professional background. They added that Tan may also present proposals for potential collaboration between Intel and the federal government.
