A Tampa Police officer was injured in a shooting Wednesday morning near Busch Gardens and a nearby Tampa Police Department building. The officer was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
Images from the scene show caution tape blocking off the Annie Street entrance to the theme park, along with a guard tower and a parking garage nearby. Tampa police confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
