Epstein accuser describes ‘troubling encounter’ with Trump at Epstein’s office.
Epstein first accuser Maria Farmer says she met Donald Trump in Jeffrey Epstein’s New York office in the 1990s, describing a ‘troubling encounter’ that prompted her to urge the FBI to investigate people in Epstein’s circle, including the president, according to The New York Times.
Farmer, the Epstein accuser, told the Times she felt unsafe when Trump “hovered” near bare legs until Epstein told him she wasn’t there for him. She also said she heard Trump remark he believed she was 16.
She says she reported the Epstein accuser’s troubling moment to the FBI in both 1996 and again in 2006, urging them to look into Epstein’s network.
The White House denies she ever met Trump in Epstein’s office. Press Secretary Steven Cheung said, “The president was never in Epstein’s office” and emphasized Trump had removed Epstein from his club.
In recent weeks, Trump’s DOJ announced it wouldn’t release more Epstein accuser files beyond select grand jury testimony. That move has angered some supporters and left others feeling the public hasn’t seen the full picture.
